The red wine Poggio alla Guardia Vigne Alte is produced in southern Tuscany, in Maremma. In particular, the vineyards are located in the Gavorrano area, a warm and dry region, which enjoys excellent brightness. It is a ready-to-drink and medium-bodied red wine, very versatile in terms of consumption occasions, it is round and fruity and rich in aromas and flavors thanks to the combination of four grape varieties. Wine making with no use of wood barrels keeps it easy to drink, fruity, and immediately enjoyable.
The different varieties are each harvested at the moment of perfect ripeness. They are vinified separately with fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine also carries out malolactic fermentation and ages for one year in concrete tanks.
