It is considered one of the most prestigious Blanc de Blancs Champagnes. It is only produced in exceptional vintages.
Vintage Champagne Blanc de Blancs, made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. It comes from the Champagne region, France. The grapes come from Grand Cru vineyards. Elegant, refined, with great finesse and vivacity, it expresses the purity of Chardonnay. It possesses great ageing potential. This Champagne spends a prolonged period of ageing on the lees in the chalk cellars of the Maison Taittinger, located beneath the Saint-Nicaise Abbey in Reims. This period can last up to 10 years, allowing the wine to develop complexity, finesse and a characteristic creaminess. The chalk cellars offer constant temperature and humidity conditions, ideal for slow and gradual ageing. This environment allows the champagne to develop the tertiary aromas that distinguish it.
