It is a modern wine, desingned by Angelo Gaja in his Bolgheri estate. Merlot prevails in the blend to give roundness and fullness to the mouthfeel, Syrah adds body and grit; finally 10% Sangiovese ensures the refreshing character typical of Tuscan wines.
It is carefully obtained at each step; the vineyard is managed with an organic approach. The harvest is manual and after fermentation in steel vats at a controlled temperature, the wine ages in small barrels for a year.

Colour: ruby red with purple rim.
perfume: fruity and spicy, with blackberry, black cherry, currant, myrtle, licorice, vanilla.
Taste: full-bodied, lively tannins well integrated, adequate freshness, supple, long finish.
