Bolgheri DOC Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia 2022

The Bolgheri Rosso Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia wine is made with a skilful blend of Bordeaux vine varieties to obtain complexity and richness of taste. The warmth of the Mediterranean coast is found in the wine in a fascinating and rich sip.

The manual harvest is followed by a double sorting of the grapes, both manual and with optical readers. Wine making is separated by grape variety and by single vineyard of origin. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in steel vats at a temperature below 25 ° C with a total maceration period between 2 and 3 weeks. The malolactic fermentation begins in steel and ends in the barriques in which the wine ages for a total of 15 months. 25% of the barrels are new every year. The blend is made after the first year of aging, then the blended wine completes its aging in wood. It rests for another 6 months in the bottle before leaving the cellar.
