Franciacorta Brut Satèn ‘61

Satèn is the softest and most delicate type of Franciacorta. It is made only from white berried grapes because they give more elegance than power to the cuvée; moreover it is elaborated with a lower atmospheric pressure in the bottle, that is to say a more delicate fizziness. The number '61 on the Berlucchi label is a tribute to the first bottle of traditional method sparkling wine made in Franciacorta at the Berlucchi house in 1961. This number identifies a line of Franciacorta of a superior quality within the winery range.

The base wine is obtained with a wine making only in steel. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the traditional method and the sparkling wine ages on the lees in the underground cellars for at least 24 months.
