It is charming and complex; it can be uncorked as an aperitif or an after dinner. But it is superbly food friendly. Try it with bread, butter and anchovies or with a salmon fillet au gratin in the oven.
Recommended with: mushrooms, truffles, hot spicy dishes, shellifish, crab and lobster, white meats, tartufo bianco.
