Villa Massa is one of the most popular brands in Italy and worldwide as regards the production of the famous lemon liqueur. The Massa family can boast a centuries-old tradition in the production of Limoncello in Sorrento, witnessed since 1890. While it was only in 1991 that the Villa Massa brand was created, to produce and market its products. Most of the operations are still artisanal and carried out by hand, especially the harvest of lemons, which must not fall to the ground, but must be picked at the right moment of ripeness.

The liqueurs of Villa Massa are produced with IGP lemons of Sorrento grown on the Sorrento peninsula in the province of Naples in dedicated terraces protected by mats. In the favorable climatic conditions of the Gulf of Naples, these lemon trees bear fruit even 5 times a year.
