Tenuta Moraia is part of the Tenute Piccini. It has 160 hectares of land in the Maremma, in southern Tuscany near the Tyrrhenian coast.
The Piccini family bought Tenuta Moraia in 2000 interested in producing wines from one of the most popular areas for Tuscan wine. Tenuta Moraia has 60 hectares of vineyards, planted with traditional grape varieties such as Sangiovese and Vermentino, but also internationally successful varieties such as Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay.
The wines of Tenuta Moraia have great personality, are faithful to the territory of origin, which is characterized by a mild and dry climate.
All the vineyards are managed organically.
