Socré is a traditional Piedmontese farmhouse, founded in 1869, located in the municipality of Barbaresco; in the past it gave grapes to third parties and only in 2000 with a new generation of the Piacentino family in charge, did it start making wine on its own and selling its own wines in bottles with its own name. It is therefore recent as a commercial brand, even if the vineyards have always existed in various areas of the Lange and Monferrato. In recent years the Socré winery has acquired vineyards in various villages and this allows it to have an articulated range of products. However, it is with the Barbaresco wine that the winery has made itself noticed by the public of enthusiasts and by critics. The Barbaresco Roncaglie Riserva 2015 obtained the 3 glasses from Gambero Rosso and many other wines have often taken the two glasses.
