Scapegrace was born in 2012 in New Zealand by 3 young people who share a passion for Gin. After discussing and pondering their favorite style of gin they decided to give it a try by investing in this venture. They use an old copper whisky alembic and their basic distillate is made from wheat only.
The flavoring is done with selected botanicals from various parts of the world and they are lucky enough to use pure water from the mountains in the south of the country. Within a few years they won important prizes both in Europe and in the USA. Scapegrace gins are among the trendiest of the moment.
