The Re Manfredi Terre degli Svevi winery was founded by the Italian Wine Group in 1998, in the heart of the Aglianico production area, the Vulture, a plateau at the foot of the extinct volcano. All of the 120 hectares of vineyards in the winery are located a few kilometers from Venosa, at an altitude of 420 metres.
