Founded in 2003 by the Merano family, Poggio dei Gorleri was born out of a passion for wine and a desire to create labels that reflected the unique character of the Ligurian territory. The winery is distinguished by an approach that combines tradition with innovation. On the one hand, a deep respect for ancient winemaking techniques, and on the other, constant research and experimentation to obtain modern wines with great personality. The Poggio dei Gorleri vineyards extend over hills just a few steps from the sea, enjoying a microclimate particularly favourable to viticulture. The influence of the sea, with its cool breezes, and the intense Ligurian sun give the wines a distinctive, fresh and aromatic character.Poggio dei Gorleri's production is centred on white wines, true ambassadors of the Ligurian Riviera. Among the most representative varieties are Vermentino, Pigato and Rossese.
