Poggio Argentiera was established in 1997 in Tuscany, with the purchase of the Adua farm, where the company's management centre is still located today. In 2001 it expanded further with the purchase of another farm in the Bacinello area. The winery can currently count on 20 hectares of land in the Morellino DOCG area, where these grapes are grown: Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Alicante and Vermentino.

The soils are very different, in fact, in the Albarese area, the soil is mainly composed of sand and silt, while in the Baccinello area, the soil is rich in calcareous clay. 

Both steel and wood are used for ageing the wine, and the annual production is around 150,000 bottles.

The winery uses organic farming to try to preserve the balance between vine and terroir, which allows the winery to perfectly represent the essence of the Maremma land through a collection that blends traditional and international styles.
