Paul Goerg is a Champagne brand owned by an important cooperative, the Goutte d’Or of Vertus. It was born as a brand in 1950 when some vignerons decided to allocate part of the grapes harvested to the production of their own Champagne that was an expression of the territory of Vertus in the Côte des Blancs.
The cooperative owns 120 hectares of vineyards classified as Premier Cru. The style is based on vinification in steel of the base wines with malolactic fermentation carried out. The refinements on the lees are long.
