Marotti Campi

The Marotti Campi winery is a family business located in the municipality of Morro d’Alba, in the province of Ancona. They grow both white and red grapes in their 70 hectares of vineyards. The Marotti Campi family used to manage the land in sharecropping before becoming an independent farm.
Wine production began in the 90s with Giovanni and his wife Francesca, now flanked by their son Lorenzo. The Village of Morro d’Alba gives its name to an appellation of red wines produced with the indigenous Lacrima grape variety. But Morro d’alba was also one of the Castles of Jesi and the territory also falls within the perimeter of the Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi DOC. In both these appellations Marotti Campi offers true excellence.
Their vineyards are located on hills with clayey soil, which slope towards the Adriatic coast and the sea has a considerable influence on the microclimate and on the grapes’ ripening. Within the vineyards there are two real crus: Salmariano, cultivated with Verdicchio and Orgiolo cultivated with Lacrima.
The annual production is about 260,000 bottles, which are distinguished by a precise and clean style, always of great satisfaction.
