Livon is a family name, that for three generations has been a leading exponent of the great white wines of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Today they manage 180 hectares of vineyards and produce around 850,000 bottles every year in the main DOCs of the region. Livon was among the first to believe in quality viticulture, that is lowering yields, producing less but creating labels that can be distinguished and remembered.
The success of the company was consecrated by the Braide Alte label, that obtained numerous awards on most of the Italian and foreign wine guides and magazines. Braide Alte has become legendary. It is a white wine released with the 1996 harvest from a single vineyard, in which Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Picolit and Moscato giallo are grown together.
Today the company offers an articulated range of labels to meet the different needs of the market ranging from private consumers to haute cuisine.
