Founded in 1983 by the Ruggeri family, Le Colture is an esteemed and awarded winery in the Valdobbiadene area based in the municipality of Santo Stefano. The company directly cultivates over 40 hectares of vineyards divided into 16 farms in the hills of Conegliano, Valdobbiadene and Montello. Among these farms there are some of the most important vineyards for the production of quality Prosecco such as the Rive di Santo Stefano and Cartizze, what in France they would call "Grand Cru".
In addition to Glera, which is undoubtedly the specialty of the Le Colture winery, the Ruggeri also cultivate other grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. They have a very thorough knowledge of their territory and the link with the territory is the basis of the production philosophy. In the cellar we find sophisticated, cutting-edge technologies, capable of ensuring optimal control of each stage of processing from grapes to wine. The annual production of Le Colture approaches 800,000 bottles.
