It is a historic Venezuelan distillery, founded in 1796 in the Aragua valley, a mountainous area that has always been rich in sugar cane along with coffee and cocoa plants. Unlike many other distilleries in the country, which passed into the hands of large industrial groups, the business of Hacienda Santa Teresa is still managed today in a traditional way and followed by the Vollmer family since 1826.
