Nico Rossi's family is originally from Suvereto in the province of Livorno (Tuscany) and manages the farm and the excellent adjoining restaurant with passion and craftsmanship.
The region of Suvereto and Val di Cornia is characterized by a warm and dry climate and a soil rich in minerals. It has always been a land devoted to wine production and nowadays, alongside traditional Tuscan varieties, it has adopted Cabernet savuginon, Cabernet franc, Merlot and Viognier to produce successful fine wines.
Gualdo del Re made this area immediately south of Bolgheri famous. Its wines have been reference points for the whole region.
The wines are certified organic.
