Tenuta Guado al Tasso, owned by Antinori, is the largest wine estate in the Bolgheri DOC. It has belonged to the Antinori family since the 1930s and covers an area of ​​1000 hectares of which 320 are vineyards. It is located in the central part of the Bolgheri district, between the via Aurelia and the via Bolgherese. The land has been studied parcel by parcel, so each vine is planted in the point that is most favorable to it.

If once the estate was famous for the “Bolgheri Rosé”, today the range includes above all red wines of excellent quality, produced with French vines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot.

A restaurant accessible from via Bolgherese was recently inaugurated, where you can appreciate their wines with food.

Among the labels produced Il Bruciato represents a real best seller, bottled in massive quantities and created in a cellar dedicated to him. The winery’s flagship wine is Bolgheri Superiore Guado al Tasso, that is always outstanding. Then there are Il Matarrocchio, a limited edition of 100% Cabernet franc, and Cont’Ugo, a pure Merlot of great charm. The range is completed by a Vermentino white and a rosé.
