The Giacomo Conterno winery was founded in 1900 in Monforte d'Alba by Giacomo, descendant of a family that had been dealing with grapes and wine for more than a century. It will be the son and the grandson who will make the company grow and maintain the same care in the vineyard and in the cellar unchanged over time, to acquire new vineyards that give life to wines that enhance what nature has made available. This is the philosophy of the company and also of Roberto, the last descendant of the Conterno family at the helm of a brand which, despite producing only 65,000 bottles a year, is one of the best expressions of Piedmontese wine.
