The latest generation of the Farina family is represented by Alessandro, Claudio and Elena Farina, who decided to become winemaker for passion. They manage about 50 hectares of vineyards, mostly cultivated with traditional Valpolicella grapes. They are in the hills north of the city of Verona, sheltered to the north by the Lessini Mountains and influenced by the mild currents that come from the nearby Lake Garda. Here the native Corvina grape reigns and is the basis of great wines such as Amarone della Valpolicella and Recioto della Valpolicella.
Having vineyards in the classic area of ​​Valpolicella is not enough to make quality wines, hence they built an efficient and modern cellar, where cutting-edge technology helps to preserve the quality of the grapes that are transformed into wine. Particular attention is given to the drying environment of the grapes for the production of Amarone and Recioto: humidity and temperatures are carefully kept under control. The winery is open to visits and offers a curious itinerary from the vineyard to wine tasting.
