Damijan Podversic is a splendid reality in the Collio located on the border with the Slovenian Goriška Brda, an area with a great wine-growing vocation that has recently seen the limelight thanks to the advent of Orange wines of which this reality is a great example and bulwark.
The vineyards are mainly located on the wooded slopes facing south of Monte Calvario, the company owns about 10 hectares in different parts of the Collio, mostly of a hilly nature.
The company philosophy is to respect and work with nature, trying to maintain biodiversity and the rhythms it asks of us.
The great vocation of this territory derives from rather favorable morphological and climatic situations.
The soils rich in stone with a particularly draining character and the proximity to the Adriatic coast create ideal conditions for working the vineyard with an organic philosophy by limiting the work of man.
