A story that began in 1850 with Count Augusto Giorgi di Vistarino and continues to this day with his great-great-granddaughter Ottavia Giorgi Vistarino. Count Augusto Giorgi di Vistarino was the first, in 1850, to import Pinot Noir into Oltrepò, consecrating this area as the Land of Pinot Noir. In 1865, Conte Vistarino was the first winery to vinify Pinot noir using the classic method, thus initiating the great sparkling wine tradition of the Oltrepò Pavese. 

The estate is located in the Oltrepò Pavese area, more precisely in the municipality of Rocca de' Giorgi, and covers 826 hectares, 200 of which are planted with vines and 100 with Pinot Noir. The biodiversity of the estate, given by the alternation of vineyards and wooded areas, and the dry climate of this area, represent the ideal habitat for Pinot noir. 

For more than 170 years, the winery's vision has always remained the same: to interpret the noble grape variety in the best possible way, seeking the highest quality while respecting the land and nature surrounding the winery.
