Chateau d'Esclans is a historic estate in the heart of Provence, about twenty kilometers north-west of Fréjus, a small village of ancient Roman origins. The foundations of the cellars of the current building rest precisely on the ancient original structures of the site which served as an observation tower at the time of the Gauls. In these lands, viticulture has very ancient origins. The estate extends for 267 hectares, of which 74 are destined for vineyards. Among these reside old Grenache vineyards over 90 years of age, which produce grapes of the highest quality, with intense and elegant aromas.
