Founded in 1908 by Umberto Bonollo, it maintains a tradition of excellence in the distillation of Italian grapes. In December 1999, when barrique-aged grappas did not yet exist, the first bottle of Grappa OF Amarone Barrique was launched on the market. This revolutionised the world of grappa, raising it to the levels of elegance and prestige of the great international spirits. In 2018, Wine Enthusiast ranks it among the world's 'Top 100 Spirits'.
