The Bacardi group owns the Bombay Spirits Company, whose London Dry Gin is particularly famous all around the world.
The distillery is located in the countryside of Hampshire, more precisely inside the Laverstock Mill. Within this building, multiple activities take place every day including tastings, tours and workshops.
The main focus for the distillery is the London Dry Gin. The typical light blue geometric bottle is inspired by the “Star of Bombay”, an ancient sapphire stone mined in Sri Lanka. On the front side, Queen Victoria is portrayed at the center of the stone. Throughout the years variants of this product were released; however the original recipe dates back to 1761.
