Virtus Langhe DOC 2012
Virtus Langhe 2012 is a red wine from the Langhe region, the result of a blend of Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The 2012 harvest was characterized by favorable weather conditions, which helped produce ripe, well-balanced grapes.
The two grape varieties are processed separately and then blended only before bottling. The grapes macerate on the skins for twenty days, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Aging takes place in French oak barriques for twenty-eight months, followed by a second aging in bottles before release.

Colour: intense ruby red.
perfume: intense ripe fruit, notes of chalk, rose, pepper and chocolate.
Taste: full, delicate and harmonious, with a lingering finish that echoes the notes of macerated fruit and minerality.
