Puiatti's Ribolla Gialla is made by following precise agronomic and oenological choices to reveal the authentic character of the grape variety in a delicate and easy-drinking wine.
It comes from vineyards in the municipality of Romans d’Isonzo with alluvial soil composed of a gravelly layer in depth and red iron clay on the surface. The environment has mild microclimate thanks to the influence of the Adriatic Sea, it favors the ripening of the Ribolla gialla grapes, the cool nights in summer contribute to the flavor compounds’ development.
The grapes are pressed and the free-run must ferments at a controlled temperature in steel vats. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation and ages 4 months in steel vats on its fine lees.
