Prosecco Brut Rosé 2021
The rosé version of Prosecco was recently introduced in the appellation, it is produced by adding a part of Pinot Noir vinified with a short maceration to the Glera wine. Prosecco Rosé released by Biancavigna comes from owned vineyards in the province of Treviso on clayey and calcareous soil. It has a refined character since its pale pink color brightened by fine bubbles. It has very fresh, floral and fruity aromas and a balanced, round and intense taste that is suitable both for an aperitif and for pairing with light dishes.
The grapes are harvested by hand. The base wines ferment in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The Glera wines are then blended with a part of Pinot Noir rosé wine and the second fermentation takes place in an autoclave according to the tank method. The sparkling wine remains in contact with the lees for 60 days.
