Classic style, made with the 2 most representative varieties of Franciacorta.
The wording “’61” recalls the birth date of Franciacorta. In fact, in 1961 for the first time a traditional method sparkling wine was produced in the Berlucchi house with the word “Franciacorta” on the label. Until then, Franciacorta was only the name of a territory, while today it is the most glamorous sparkling wine DOCG in Italy and Berlucchi was the first to pave the way for this movement with his 1961 "Pinot di Franciacorta". Franciacorta Rosé ‘61 has a classic, balanced and soft taste, with the right firmness given by the prevalence of black berried grapes in the cuvée.
The base wines ferment in steel. Pinot Noir undergoes a short maceration on the skins to take on its color and structure. After the formation of the cuvée, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the traditional method with a maturation on the lees for about 24 months.
