In the wide area of rolling hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene Cartizze is the top of a single hill at San Pietro di Barbozza and extends for only 104 hectares of vineyards. It is considered the appellation’s Grand cru, because all the environmental conditions combine to enhance the fracrance and flavors of the wines.
The Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze from Foss Marai is obtained with the native Glera grape, harvested fully ripe, when it is richer in aromatic components. It is processed very carefully and the wine is made with the tank method. It is “Dry”, it means some residual sugar have been added to make it taste richer and rounder on the palate.

Taste: light, refreshing and well balanced.
