Champagne Brut Cristal 2015 (con astuccio)
Cristal stands out from all other Champagnes for its bottle: clear glass and flat bottom. Cristal was created in 1876 as the Chamapagne of Tsar Alexander II, who specifically asked for clear glass and a flat bottom, fearing that otherwise the bottle could hide an explosive device. Today the bottle is sold wrapped in a film that shields the ultraviolet rays. Champagne Cristal is the prestige cuvée of the Roederer maison and is obtained from the selection of the best grapes from its own vineyards, conducted in a biodynamic regime. Cristal is a vintage Champagne and is produced only in favorable years. Each year is a different challenge. The style is that of opulence, but of opulence with taste!
The fermentation of the base wines takes place partly in steel vat and partly in wooden barrels. Malolactic fermentation is prevented. After the second fermentation in the bottle with the traditional method, Cristal matures on the lees in the bottle for at least 6 years. It is dosed with 7 g / l of sugars.
