Symbolic wine of the Antinori house, always in line with the times.
Villa Antinori Rosso is not labeled according to any traditional appellation, because it aims to be a modern wine, elaborated according to the current taste of consumers. The international varieties used give deep color to the wine and fruity and supple taste, the Tuscan territory makes it unique in terms of drinkability. Villa Antinori Rosso is an Antinori branded wine born in 1928. Over the years it has continuously changed its style, to always be a wine in line with the times. The label represents the Cigliano villa, reminiscent of Tuscany, because, even if it is produced with international grape variety blended with Sangiovese, it is a wine made in Tuscany and the territory of origin represents its style. The composition of the blend varies every year according to the seasonal trend.
Harvest and wine making are separate for each variety. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. At the end of fermentation, the wine continues to macerate with the skins for 8-12 days. The wine then ages in French, Hungarian and American oak barriques.
