Zibibbo secco Taif 2024
Taif is a Sicilian white wine made from Moscato grapes, in particular Moscato d'Alessandria, also called Zibibbo. It is an aromatic grape that is mostly vinified as a sweet wine from fresh or dried grapes. Instead, Fina decided to make a dry wine from fresh grapes. Its heady scent is irresistible.
The grapes come from 300 m high hills behind Marsala and ferment in steel vat. No oak aging.
Features
Colour: pale straw yellow tending to greenish.
perfume: aromatic with rose petals, jasmine, orange blossom, musk, candied fruit, marzipan.
Taste: dry, fresh, balanced, lingering.
Abbinamenti
To be enjoyed chilled in its youth in medium-sized glasses. It goes well with fish and vegetarian dishes, but is also excellent as an aperitif.
Recommended with: charcuterie, hams and cold meat, raw meat, sushi and raw fish, vegetarian dishes, shellifish, crab and lobster, fresh cheese.
